One of the most underrated travel destinations i've come across is majuli, assam. it's the world's largest river island on the brahmaputra, offering stunning landscapes, unique satras (monasteries), and vibrant local culture. the island is peaceful, with bamboo houses, cycling trails, and breathtaking sunsets. it’s a great place to disconnect and experience traditional assamese hospitality. getting there involves a ferry ride from jorhat, adding to the adventure. if you love offbeat places with cultural richness and natural beauty, majuli is a hidden gem worth exploring.
