Hi Sandeep. The most convinient and quickest way is to take a direct flight from Delhi to Ladakh (Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport). You can also drive, and there are two routes available for this : Manali Route and Srinagar Route. If you plan to take the road, May to mid-October is the best time as all the roads are open and accessible. Happy Travelling!
Hi, Sandeep!
The best way to travel to Leh from Delhi depends on the kind of experience you wish to have. If you're up for an adventurous roadtrip of lifetime and have ample time at hand, you can travel by road. Travelling by road from Delhi-Manali-Leh can take at least two complete days. Travelling by road allows you to witness some of the best mountainous landscape of the region, but it also makes you brave the bitter cold and high altitude regions. Also, it is important to note that the road remains closed due to heavy snowfall in the region during winter. However, if you don't have that much time or simply don't wish to put yourself through the tough weather conditions, you can take direct flight from Delhi to Leh. Hope that helps!
Hi, the best route is as follows:-
1. Take a overnight Volvo/sleeper bus from Delhi to manali.
2. Gear up with your royal Enfield bikes / car and drive the mesmerizing scenic view from manali to rohtang pass to Jispa and stay overnight here.
3. From Jispa to Sarchu and stay again here overnight .
4. From Sarchu to Pang to Leh finally! Wonderful experience of Life and one of the best road journey you would ever experience! Highly suggest to travel with a group and be tension free abt vehicle fuel considerations and accommodations at different places!
