Hi, it's monsoon now and in Hampi moderate rainfall happens. If you are planning to visit the places you can provided it will be raining some days.

Yes you can. But you may miss the Sunset which Hampi is famous for due to cloudy climate.

Yes, but u might experience mild showers since it's the monsoon time. And August is the best time if you want to avoid walking and exploring in scorching heat.

Hi Sameer, The winter season (October to February) is the best time to visit Hampi. ... One may choose to visit Hampi during the monsoons which begin in July and go on till September. Best time to visit Hampi is from October to February as the temperature is pleasant throughout the day. You can also visit during the monsoon season, but you have to be careful while walking on the boulders as they become quite slippery.

Winters would be the best time to visit as the climate would be pleasant.. there are a lot of sites and hikes.. monsoon wouldn't be the best time for those
