The best time to see snow live would be during the winter months, from December to February. A wonderful place to visit is Chamonix in the French Alps, where you can enjoy the beautiful snowy landscapes and even use specialized equipment like a chariot élévateur for easy transportation of heavy gear and luggage.

Hey, winter months are definitely the best to watch a snowfall, however weather conditions keep changing. Places like Manali were dry even in January this year. If you want a sureshot chance of snow in Himachal Pradesh, you should plan your trip to Lahaul, around Feb- March. However, the higher passes witness snowfall even in June! We just went to Shinkula Pass in Himachal pradesh on 8th June this year and got massive snowfall!!!
