I am planning to travel Goa next weekend with my family ,we are planning to hit the road .Please suggest if road trip is a good idea in this situation from Bangalore to Goa.please suggest the route .

I am in Goa and i dont suggest anyone to visit goa in August due to rain especially south goa.. continuously raining..

Can I travel in early September? will it be good?

Also, I travelled by bus and it took around 16hrs to reach because of rain, they have to reroute the bus..

Please check the weather forecast beforehand as I heard there is flooding in some parts of Goa.Also going to Goa by car always makes for a fun drive due to it's postcard scenic routes.

If the family is fine with the.long duration of road trip then definitely go for it. it's just that you will have to be more conscious due to rainfalls and harsh weather.
