Well, the most economical way would be local transportation but Im not sure you will get it on regular intervals or not. You may hire a bike from Rishikesh for the whole trip or club with your friends to share a cab for the whole trip. Day 3 is Chopta which is base camp of Tungnath and Chandrashila (I might doubt you may go upto Chandrashila because of high snow). You can do it on Day 3 and Day could stay in Gopeshwar. Well, if you want to book accommodation, we've homestay in Sari, Urgam Valley and Auli.
