Perched at an altitude of 3500 ft above sea level, Yelagiri is one of the best hill stations in Tamil Nadu. It is located at just 178 km from Bangalore. It is one of the popular trekking and paragliding spots in India. The tranquil backdrop, balmy climate, and lofty peaks allure hundreds of tourists every year. The ideal time to visit Yelagiri is between November and February. The main attraction spots are Swamimalai Hills, Jalagamaparai Falls, Velavan Temple, Nature Park, and Punganoor Lake.
Good Luck!
Hey Rajni, I haven't been to many places near Bangalore but Pondicherry is around 5 to 6 hours by car. Stay at Anantha Heritage Hotel which is peaceful and makes you feel at home. The place is closely located to all the main attractions and cafes in Pondicherry. And you can also take a day trip to Auroville!
