I'd suggest Gulmarg. The weather's great for the gondola ride, trekking, and golfing. Pahalgam's lovely too, but Gulmarg offers more activities in August.

For your Kashmir trip, both Gulmarg and Pahalgam offer unique experiences, but if you need to choose just one, here's a comparison to help you decide: Gulmarg: (https://www.tripoto.com/gulmarg) Known for its stunning meadows and adventure activities, Gulmarg is famous for its lush green landscapes and the Gulmarg Gondola, one of the highest cable cars in the world. In August, you can enjoy trekking, golfing, and stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Pahalgam: (https://www.tripoto.com/pahalgam) Often preferred for its serene environment, Pahalgam offers beautiful riverside walks, lush meadows, and is a gateway to the Amarnath Yatra. In August, you can explore Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and enjoy activities like fishing and horse riding. If you prefer adventure and panoramic views, Gulmarg is your go-to. If you're seeking tranquility and nature walks, Pahalgam would be better. For more details and tips on your Kashmir trip, visit - https://www.tripoto.com/jammu-and-kashmir
