With friends - better plan on your own, it will be cheaper. Search home-stays online or take tips from friends or from this platform, hire activa scooter there and roam around.

Always to plan a trip by self would be great. you would find lot more cheaper deals and mo commission issues if you go and find things as a group.

Recommended thing will be always planning your own trip. So that you know how long you can stay at a place and explore. There won't b any limitation while travelling and it will always be budget friendly.

North Goa - Fort aguada, Anjuna beach, Arambol beach, Anjuna flea market, Scuba diving, Arvalem falls, Mangeshi temple, museum, Chorao islands are some spots you could explore. South Goa- Palolem beach, Chandreshwar temple, museum, Mollem national park, Dudhsagar falls and Cabo de Rama fort are some spots to see.

Goa is best explored without a plan. The place is easy accessible and safe for all kind of travellers. I would suggest to take scooty/bike/ car on rent and explore the places at your pace and liking. I have explored both the options during my many visits. Would give you more freedom and independence.
