Snow jackets and boots are not required. You may barely find too much snow. But do carry jackets for winds and rain. Slight wind can be a muddy storm.

You need the gum boots or jackets that used in winters usaly in the month of may in leh ldahak

May month is called as summer month of Ladakh where temperature runs till 20 degree Celsius. Sun is out, so snowing stops. Still chillness prevails with cool winds blowing and night the temperature dips though not to minus but chillness creeps. Snow jackets, boots aren’t required but you need sweaters, jackets to keep you warm.
