Bali beaches are termed as crystal clear waters, filled with light brown sands, that most of the beaches overlook the islands. Jimbaran bay, Thomas beach, Amed beach, Medewi beach are popular along with some energy boosting adventure sports. Thailand beaches are more of palm trees, lush green here and there and more of white stretched coastlines. Sports activities, massage parlours, party centers make thai beaches very popular. Nai harn beach, phra nang kabi beach, Pattaya beach, long beach, lamai beach are some great beaches to visit. My suggestion would be Thailand beaches, but someday you should plan for Bali beaches too.

Bali i would say. But expenses wise Bali will be more and Thailand will be cheap

Definitely Bali. While Thailand has plenty beaches and islands, the beauty of Bali beaches is unparalleled. Krabi in Thailand however is very good for a beach and water sports sorta vacation too.
