You get to Walk with the kings of African bush in this amazing and unique experience at Livingstone, Zambia.
Prepare to have all your "Lion King dreams" come true as you befriend and interact with cub lions! You cannot describe the feeling you have when you meet these huge cats, although only 8-13 months old- they are huge!! You are scared, but also excited!! Once a cub reaches 2 years, it is no longer involved in the walks as it would have begun approaching an age (and a size), that might be dangerous for humans to interact with.
There are absolutely no chains or collars involved in the walks, just the company of your professional guides, who have, over the past months, become part of these cubs' young pride. The scouts ensure that our rigorous safety procedures are upheld allowing you to enjoy watching the lions play, hunt and enjoy in their natural habitat.
The walk in the bush lasts for about 45 minutes to an hour (but you can request for it to be shorter.)
This is Africa’s first genuine programme to ethically re-introduce the offspring of rehabilitated captive- bred African lion back into the wild.
