Vibhooti- a plunge from heavens above

Western ghats is a place of pleasant surprises always. Vibhooti falls is one among them. The place where it has been created is a intriguing thing!

Route: there are basically 2 routes, either from yellapura or via sirsi.
From yellapura towards ankola after the ghats you'll find a route board saying "yana" and "vibhooti falls" turn left and you'l get a check post after few kms, then turn left and continue till you get next check post!  For those coming via sirsi, you'll cross a route leading to Yana enroute after the ghats, you'll find vibhooti.

Time to visit: Post monsoon, winters are best but beware of leeches, carry tobacco or lime.

Things to carry: you'll get water to drink, just carry some food and do not litter around.

Fee: minimal fee is put for maintainance.
