Vienna - the capital of Austria, the cradle of Western Classical Music, once the home of the mighty Habsburg family. It is probably one of the most liveable cities in Europe. The city boasts of different architectural styles such as Gothic, Baroque, Renaissance, Classical. The central part of the city is pedestrian friendly and skyscraper free with St. Stephen's Cathedral standing tall at 136m(though there are taller buildings in the outer district). Before Christmas the city dresses up with colourful Christkindlmarkts across the city.

A trip to Vienna is incomplete without the famous Sachertorte from the place it was invented - Café Sacher. As John Lennon said in The Ballad of John and Yoko, 'Made a lightning trip to Vienna/ Eating chocolate cake in a bag"
