Reached Bagdogra from Guwahati by flight and stayed at Hotel Suktara International inside Siliguri station premise.

Enjoyed the UNESCO World heritage toy train ride from Siliguri to Darjeeling. The train journey through the hills & forest with all natural beauties everywhere is a memorable journey for a lifetime.

Started the day with mesmerizing Tiger Hill's sunrise with clear blue sky of January. Golden Kanchanjunga with the first ray of sun is a glimpse of heaven. Visited local sites i.e. Peace Pagoda, Mall market, Himalayan mountaineering institute, Saint Paul's school of "Mai hoo na" film, Happy valley Tea garden. View of Himalaya and Darjeeling city from the open terrace of our hotel "Summit Grace" was just awesome. Enjoyed delicious breakfast & dinner with complementary package.

Started the day with a view of Himalayan range & steam engine from Batasia loop. Visited India's highest railway station "Ghoom". Drove for 4 hour journey to Mirik & enjoyed the green carpet of Mirik tea gardens and pine tree forest. Visited the biggest monaestry of Darjeeling 'Bokar Monaestry'.

Started day early and checked out from hotel. Coming back to Bagdogra airport visited some of the less visited tourist places with some of the extraordinary natural beauties of Kurseong & Dudhia river. Reached Kolkata in the late evening.

Started day with Dakshineswar temple worship. Kolkata city roaming with a touch of history in Victoria & St Paul's cathedral, watched universe inside Birala planetarium. Shopping on the streets of Splanade & new market area was most liked by wife.

A road trip to Mandarmani with a heavy lunch at Sher-e-Punjab. Reached destination by 3.00pm. Enjoyed a lot on the beach. Watched a beautiful sunset. Evening beach party with delicious snacks & drinks served on beach.

Spent the whole day on the beach.

Came back to Guwahati with some memorable experiences.
