And you crave to amalgamate all that amid grand sightseeing expedition, food, travel, shopping and various other exhilarating activities?

Yes, it's all likely at the queen of Hills Darjeeling, one of the most preferred hill stations which is recognized for its astounding vibe with all contemporary and colonial charisma. Keyed up? Well, there is merely one thing you ought to ensure so as to fulfill your expectations. Pack your bag and get-set-go.

Day-1 Reach Darjeeling, check in to hotel, freshen up, and then come to Chowrasta Mall, sit on the side bench for a while, unwind & take pleasure in the ambience and activities around. Take a leisurely walk alongside the scenic Mall Road known as (Bhanu Sarani). If you have some time left walk straight up to the Observatory Hill at the back the Mall and pay a visit to holy Mahakal Temple on the top. Enjoy the panoramic views from there and experience how suddenly the sun sets in the hills. . If you love shopping, well, we all do….. Then these heritage curio shops like Jolly Arts, Habib Mullick are place to visit to collect some piece of old art and crafts. Then take a stroll along the Nehru road which leads downward from the Mall and is lined up by all kinds of shops on both sides. When feel hungry, fill your tummy in one of the eateries there like Shangri-La or Glenary's. Day-2 At the early morning set out for 3-point tour covering Sunrise at Tiger Hill, Batasia Loop and Old Ghoom Monastery where the toy train seizes a spectacular loop and negotiate an elevation of more than 1,000ft. Come back to hotel, relax a bit. Later on the day take 7-point tour that includes Zoological Park, Race Course, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tibetan Self Help Center, Ropeway, Happy Valley Tea Estate etc. This trip will take almost 4 hours. Day-3 It’s time for a Joy Ride on the Heritage Darjeeling Toy Train that leaves Darjeeling station in the morning for a round trip. There is habitually huge demand for the ride. So it is advisable to grab your tickets well in advance. The picturesque vistas from the traditional train (which at present has got the UNESCO World Heritage status) will leave you speechless. Day-4 Hire a cab and set out for Mirik, enjoy the waterbody, do some boating and local sightseeing ahead of returning back to Darjeeling. While travelling back try out Jorpokhri Lake and Simana which is an open path to Indo-Nepal boundary with exquisite sight of Manebhanjan & the mountains, and also the famous Pashupati marketplace which is situated on Nepal's face and well-known for its electronic merchandise. Day-5 On day 5, make a Trip to Kalimpong. It takes almost 2and half hours one way, so it is wise to start early. Visit the local places and see around. Must see places there include Dr Graham's Home, Deolo Hill, Durpin Hill, Cactus & Orchid nurseries, Durpin Monastery, army golf course, viewpoints and more. Day-6 On the other hand you can also try n stay for one or two days in Kalimpong. If you like to do so, then make yourself available for a Day tour to Lava & Lolegaon before heading back to your Home.
