Lepchajagat is one of the most beautiful place near Darjeeling. It is approximately 20 km from Darjeeling and has one of the best view of mount Kanchenjunga.
We stayed over there for two nights and our main purpose was bird watching. We stayed at Pine view Homestay it's very basic Homestay and it is a very near to the Lepchajagat view point.
It was March 2021 and the best place to stay at Lepchajagat is the wbfdc rest house and a view from this rest house is awesome. The food option is also very limited there few Momo or tea stall and apart from these small shops there are no restaurant over there so you have to take your meals at the homestays only
Lepchajagat is a very lesser known place but now is popularity is gaining is popularity day by day for it's magnificent view of Kanchenjunga.
