Kalimpong is rightly known as the land of farmhouses and garden orchids. It is a place where individuals have built their individual farm houses and gardens. There are some important peaks and summits from where one can catch captivating sunrise and sunset views.

Day 1: We planned our trip to Kalimpong from Siliguri and managed to reach there by afternoon. The day was pleasant and warm and we could see the sun clearly and the mountains beneath that. Everything was palpable we managed to visit the nearby places in the afternoon after having a cup of tea.

Day 2: We planned our sightseeing in the 2nd day including 7th Mile View point, The monasteries, The science museum, Delo park and hills, The Hanuman temple and the cactus orchids.

Day 3: We planned our way to Lava and reached there within 2 hours time and managed to pack our backpacks and reach the hotel. We visited the Lava monastery and the Nature Interpretation centre in the afternoon.

Day 4: Next day, without wasting much time, we planned our way to Loleygaon via the Neora valley national park and could sight important natural views of the region

Day 5: Next day we could see the sunrise from Rishyap at Tiffin Dara view points and got up to catch the beautiful views of the mighty Eastern Himalayan spectrum including Rachela peak and the Kanchenjunga massif.

Day 6: Next day we reached Siliguri from Rishyap and managed to catch our train in the evening
