I clearly remember that cold evening when the train entered Howrah station and I first stepped in the city of joy.
It was December 2016 when a dear friend invited me to his home in Kolkata. I was really excited because this was going to be my first time in the east and adding to the thrill I was going to stay with a Bengali family for a week.
The one thing that I learnt while staying in Kolkata is that you can completely say goodbye to time and be your own king. Because it's probably the most relaxed city in India!
