Recently I travelled to vishakapatnam. My first encounter with the beaches took place. From my window I could watch the calm waters of Bay of Bengal with boats, ships moving silently. During sunrise the whole beach glistened, looking light blue in color that as waves crashed so the rays entered. Being a summer spot here are some beaches you should try visiting in vizag.

LAWSON BAY BEACH- It is an extension of Ramakrishns beach, surrounded by sea, clear water and calm waves. It is secluded and stretch is great to walk. Swimming, sunbathing, and surfing are ideal things to do.

GANGAVARAM BEACH- This village is called as one of the beautiful spot of Andhrapradesh. A secluded beach, popular for culture and scenic views. Paidithalamma ammavari panduga, mahapournami festival are popularly celebrated. Sunbathing, watersports are popular activities to do.

YARADA BEACH- Located 15kms away from vizag almost near Gangavaram beach scientific study of this beach says deposits that are added to this beach were removed through erosion.

BHEEMILI BEACH- Located near gosthani river, 24km away from vizag Dutch settlements were done during 17th century here. There is an old lightthouse and Dutch style architecture prevail all over the town.

SAGAR NAGAR- A silent secluded beach popular for sunrise, sunset, paragliding to attain tranquility. Sagar nagar is called as neighbourhood city of vizag.
