Laos lies at the heart of the Indochinese Peninsula and is bordered by Myanmar, China, Cambodia and Thailand. Take a ride to the quiet town of Vang Vieng . This is a small town nestled between Vientiane and Luang Prabang. This place is known for its activities such as kayaking, hiking and tubing. You can walk around town or rent a bike. There are some great places that serve local food and beer. So do not miss having some local beer (Beerlao and Laung Prabang) and delicious local food (Larb and Papaya Salad - Don't forget to ask for the less spicy version!!).
The second largest city in Laos is Luang Prabang and is a must visit. There are many things to do here. Visit the Royal Palace Museum, Fausi mountain and night Market. Kuang Si falls is three-tiered and a favourite among tourists.
