Day 1

Our journey started with boarding a train on friday which costed us around INR 800 each and we reached Varanasi junction on Saturday morning. As soon as we arrived we could feel the magic in the air. After a much negotiation, the auto wale bhaiya dropped us at to our live free hostel. The hostel had a vibe, the walls were painted with lord shiva art, people had a broad smile on their faces but we were greeted with some bad news that our beds can't be alloted to us before 1 pm. So we got ready in the common washroom and headed towards breakfast. The hostel was situated very near to Assi ghat so we walked till there and had amazing breakfast and spent some time near the ghat. Then we went back to hostel got ready and headed towards assi ghat we ate some delicious street food. And took a boat ride to Daswamesh ghat which was for INR 600 for 3 people. We waited in huge line for 2 hours and finally did the Darshan and ran towards Ganga ghat to see the arti. Once it was done we ate kashi chat which was average and a lot of street food and towards the hostel.

Day 2

We woke up at 4 am and started getting ready for sunrise. Once we got ready we headed towards Assi Ghat and saw Ganga arti, then we went took a boat ride got some pictures taken with sunrise. It was beautiful! The boat wale bhaiya was a photographer and he clicked some amazing pictures for us and dropped us at Dashwamesh ghat. We ate breakfast at madur jalpan which was a disappointing experience and roamed around and walked towards assi ghat and sat there for long time. Then we went for some shopping got some really cool t-shirts, pants under 500 each, from there we went to eat chachi ki kachori  which was delicious and must try and then we had pehlwan lassi which i thought was overhyped. We  went back to our hostel got ready and visited Kashi temple inside BHU and got really hungry so we went to baati chokha restaurant and had their thali which is a must try! After having our stomach full we went to lord hanuman temple. After a nice Darshan it was time to eat the much awaited apple pie from pizzeria cafe so we took an auto which took us to the cafe we ate, got some cute souvenirs and went to sit at the ghat. It was so peaceful just to sit there and relax. After much relaxation we went to the hostel took our bags and left for bus stand to catch our bus.
