Urgam Valley- A travel experience to fill your soul!

After a long wait to travel after pandemic, off we went, taking some moments out from our ever busy lives to catch a breath of fresh air, to a far away mystical land in the lap of the mighty Himalayas. Located in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand is a distant valley called Urgam which with its untouched landscapes and simple life is bound to amuse you while also making you feel at home away from home.

Urgam valley comprises of a group of villages including Helang and Devagram. The valley is abode to a prominent Shiva temple called Kalpeshwar, which is one of the five temples that constitute Panch Kedar. It is situated at roughly 1.5km ahead of Devagram village and the distance can easily be covered by drive or on foot if you wish to take a long walk and explore the surroundings.
