Spontaneous bike trip to Chopta.

So we (me along with a friend) boarded the Bus for Rishikesh at 11pm.

We reached Rishikesh early morning and hoped to get an early morning bus for Uttarkashi from there a taxi for chopta, but things didn't turned out as we planned. Due to Chaar-dham yatra there were hardly any bus for people not even for locals! So we decided to get a rental bike and there we found another group of 4 People who were also going to Chopta. So we planned accordingly with them. We started our ride and somehow managed to reach agastmuni in heavy downpour.

Next day we woke up early and hoped to reach chopta by 2 in afternoon and planned accordingly. We did traveled good KM's in less hours but somehow we got left behind from others and met with an accident. But somehow we managed to reach there without further ado. We got first aid and thought of doing the trek same day so as to save the day. We got a room had a bath and started the trek. The weather was full of surprise, we started the trek with the blessings of sun and that wasn't at all what we thought of the weather. And later it turns out as we thought. It rained so badly that by the time we got to temple tunganath there were merly 12 people including 6 of us at the time of aarti. Everyone suggested us to go back but going back after being almost 500m behind the temple ughh that was real hectic being soaked in water fully drenched barely able to keep the camera from getting wet. It was one the toughest ever trek I've been to. After aarti we managed to ask for Maggi when there was a thunderstorm outside. It was one hell of a sight to behold! Apart from us 6 the rest six people somehow managed to get a room and thanks to them they helped us by providing a room to 4 of us and a tent to other 2 guys! Thank you so much for that!

It is the day on which we headed back to our room in chopta and have to reach Rishikesh by 11pm because we've got to return the bikes. Again me and my friend git separated from the rest of guys as they have to hurry because they have booked tickets of bus to back home. With our bike broken chainset we somehow managed to reach sringar (Uttrakhand) and got it checked and after that we only stopped in case of heavy rainfall otherwise we keep on moving. We somehow managed to reach Rishikesh by 11:15 returned the bike all tired and sleep deprived and hoped to get a bus back to Delhi. Eventually we got a bus from haridwar (somehow we managed to reach haridwar in state volvo for ₹350 Rishikesh to haridwar each) and from haridwar we got a UP roadways AC bus not sleeper but the whole bus was empty so we occupied full seats and got back to Delhi next day by 11 am at our home way too much tired of this trip.
