Day 4
We started from Delhi at 9 AM for a resort near Della viilage in Ramnagar Disstt. The journey was 8 hours long covering about 300 kms. There are a lot ofcredirts all aroundd Corbett which is biggest National Park cobering about 1900 sq km area and housing a variety of flora and fauna the most famous being Royal Bengal Tiger. The park has more than 150 varieties of trees. The park is also famous for various species of birds including migratory birds. We took 2 safaris inside park from Jhirna gate and Bijrani gate and encountered a wild Tusker, Spotted deers variety of birds and Peacock. Though could not sight the famous Bengal Tiger. The park is named after Edward James Corbett who lived in Nainital and Choti Haldwani. He was born in 1885 and lived here till 1947 when migrated to Kenya. He gained name for rescuing people from menaxe of man eaters Tiger, Leopards nd other wild animals. He alsohelped lical people in ither ways with his magnaminity and popularly known as Gora Saadhu.
