Kanatal is a small village and a hill station in Uttarakhand. Kanatal is 78 km from Dehradun, 38 km from Mussoorie and 12 km from Chamba. It is on the Chamba-Mussoorie road and nearly 300 km from Delhi.
We took a morning bus from Delhi to Dehradun and we rented a bike from Dehradun for two days. We had already booked our stay at Namastay which is located in a beautiful offbeat area. We reached Mussoorie by sunset and enjoyed maggi and coffee.
We reached at Kanatal by almost 8:30pm as roads were covered with snow (it snowed there a day before we left).
We woke up at 4:30 in the morning and went for hike to witness beautiful sunrise from mountains.
