What if i tell you there is a place in INDIA which was researched by NASA and the world doesn't know about it?

Yes, there is a place called KASAR a small village near Almora, Uttarakhand, India.It is known for the Temple dedicated to Goddess Kasar Devi. This little village was visited by so many personalities of the counter-culture like Swami Vivekananda, Sunyata Baba (Alfred Sorensen) and Lama Anagarika Govinda, Bob Dylan, George Harrison and Cat Stevens, Western Buddhist Robert Thurman, and writer D. H. Lawrence were among Famous Personalities who spent two summers here.Like I told you NASA conducted a research at this village since it is believed the region around this temple has enormous geomagnetic field or we can say "special cosmic energy." Because this temple comes under the Van Allen Belt. The other two famous places having similar high magnetic field are Machu Picchu in Peru and Stone Henge in England. Does this excite you as well??

Kasar Devi is situated on a hill top, on the edge of a ridge off the Almora-Bageshwar highway. If you love hiking like me then you can definitely hike there from Almora it is approx 8 Kms or you can choose to go by road also. One can reach KASAR by all means of transport..

By AIR: Nearest airport is Patnagar about 124 Kms, you can hire taxis or take bus from Patnagar to Almora and then shared taxis for KASAR which is just 8 Kms.

By Rail: Kathgodam which is aproxx 88 Kms away from KASAR is the nearest railway station, from there again taxis and buses are available for Almora and Kasar.

By Road: Kasar Devi is just 8 Kms from Almora and you can reach almora by taking a over night journey and share taxis from thereon.
