Nothing's better than a mid season trip to a spiritual yet adventurous place. The first destination was Haridwar, reaching Hotel Himalaya @4pm. Two girls started their trip with Ganga Arti at Harkipodi Haridwar, It was raining mild, making it the best scene for a calm experience at Ganga Ghat. Later we explored the local market.
Tasted Some Yummy Food on our way back to the hotel. Concluded The Day with Hot Tea before Bed.
Woke up with Mighty Sun Shining along River Ganga. Without wasting a single minute we took a tutuk(auto) towards har ki Pauri again for a quick dip in the Ganga river. After changing clothes, we went to Mansa Devi-Chandi Devi temple, Reached Temple via Ropeway. Experienced utmost serenity.
After having breakfast and tea, we checked out and took a shared taxi to Rishikesh.
Reached Rishikesh before 2pm at noon. Had to Cross the lakshman jhula to reach our Hotel. (Recommended to take a hotel at the jhula side). Took a boat ride for that. We freshened up a little and went to Sightseeing and exploring the local market. Experienced Ganga Arti at Triveni Ghat and Parmarth Niketan.
Concluded our day with Yummy dinner.
This was the day we were waiting for, Filled with adventure activities, we hired a bike on rent and without wasting a minute, headed towards Shivpuri via NH7. Had an amazing zip line experience with Ganga zip line adventures. After that we went for Rafting, From brahmpuri ,did a 12km rafting drive. (Try bungee jumping and flying foxes too if you have time)
Explored Ganga Beach and Lakshman Jhula in the evening. FINALLY called it a day with mouthwatering dinner at the local market.
Went to the hotel and packed our stuff as we had a night bus for Delhi.
