Lansdowne formerly known as Kaludanda is a place surrounded with thick oak and blue pine forest. Its a perfect weekend destination to just enjoy food, nature and sleep. Its the most inexpensive trip till date we had. One of the main reasons why this trip was even more pleasant is because of our accommodation. We stayed here in a place called Prem Sadan which makes you feel at home. Its a beautiful 100 years old bunglow which is filled with love!! It belongs to Mr. Rajeev Anand and his wife Neera anand. This place is in Lansdowne itself but away from the crowded area. You cant expect luxury but yes it gives you that feeling of old houses with cement flooring, not the new doors with knobs, not a luxury bathroom. But, trust me this place will just make you feel contented of all it has to offer you. The stay here includes your food as well. We spent two days in Prem Sadan and explored Lansdowne in just half a day. It has a Tip n Top view point, Bhullatal Lake, Old and new Church, War memorial and a lot of greenery around. One needs to take care that since this is a cantonment town, you need maintain the decorum and discipline.
