About the Property:

The property is located in Jeolikote, a little town near the well-known city of lakes, Nainital. Enveloped within mountains, overlooking lush green hills, the resort is a Raj Heritage property. If you've ever dreamed of relishing hot cocoa by the fireplace, this is where that dream can gain fruition in reality. With Victorian architecture, the cottage is reminiscent of the royal past when grandeur was the norm of every day. This boutique resort is rife with rustic corners and colourful decor that ooze with a sense of warmth that is typical to homes in the mountains. Walls and doorways of the resort are a perfect blend of modern and Kumaoni style, giving you a feel of luxury and at the same time, an insight into the culture of Uttarakhand. The aspect that stands out most about this resort is the fact that it is run as a guest house. This means that you can experience the exclusivity of a personal touch throughout your stay. The resort offers five cottage rooms that are unique and themed differently. The rooms feature elegant drawing rooms, private porches, and all the amenities you need to make your stay a luxurious one. There are three deluxe rooms and two standard rooms that you can choose from. They cost Rs 6,000 and Rs 4,000 respectively. This cost is also inclusive of refreshments and home-made cakes.

Food:

The resort provides a rich variety of home-made meals that are reasonably charged. The cost of the food is Rs 400 per meal, per adult and Rs 200 per meal, per child.

How To Reach:

Rail: The most common and widely used mode to reach Jeolikote is train. Travel from New-Delhi to Kathgodam, the closest railway station to the property which is about 40 mins away. Hail a taxi from the railway station straight to The Cottage.

Air: The closest airport to Jeolikot is in Pantnagar, located 51km away. You can hail easily-available cabs at Pantnagar that will get you right up till the property.

Road: The road trip from Delhi-Jeolikote takes about six to seven hours. One can reach Jeolikote via Haldwani Road. It is best to speak to the hotel staff before you start, as they will be able to tell you the condition of the roads.
