Just by the side of the road leading to the Neelkanth mahadev temple there is a small muddy trail leading to the forest. Step on this trail and it would take across the verdant forests,along a gushing stream, to witness one of the most beautiful waterfalls of Rishikesh. The hike would fill your lungs with oxygen while the spray of water from the Patna Waterfalls would wash away your worries and tiredness. There are little pools of water formed here and there where you can get natural fish spa for your tired feet.
This waterfall is also known as the Neergadu waterfall and is located at a distance of about four kilometer from Tapovan area. This waterfall is majestic! Turquoise blue waters cascade down in multiple levels from the slopes of the Shiwaliks and plunges into the river Ganga. A hike up would take you to a beautiful blue pool where you can take a dip in the ice cold waters. If you want to have your breakfast by the waterfalls, there are options for that too!
Kalikund waterfall
This waterfalls is located at a distance of about one kilometer from the Patna Waterfalls.This waterfall is beautiful and the white waters emerge endlessly from behind the lush green forests of the shiwaliks. Huge rocks and a cave provide ample opportunity to sit and meditate while the sound of the gushing waters soothes your soul.
