Day 1

Set at an elevation of 6000 ft., Mussoorie is much seen by many. Mall Road, Landour, super-curvy roads et all.
But yet, the queen of hills can indeed surpise you right when you be like: been there, done that (?)
Yes! There's a plethora of unseen or less travelled spots still waiting for you to explore and rejoice. I visited Mussoorie last month, post unlock. Here are some of the really uncanny locations I found:

Clouds end: Right where, you sit just above the 9th. If you reach here, consider yourself somewhat lucky for being one of the only few people to be witnessing this magnificence in that very moment of life.

Mussoorie Camp Resort: 4kms interior of Kempty Road, a breathtaking location for those who hate crowdy or mainstream stays. Very budget friendly and top notch service all day long. Bonfires, good food, mountains all around and a swimming pool.

Yamuna Bridge: The serene Yamuna flowing below unlike ever seen (esp. with what you get by saying 'Yamuna' in Delhi). Right beside the strech there is a bengali dhaba where fresh Salmond Curry and Desi Chicken Curry are just flavours to the mouth.

Kempty Fall: Very popular yet very satisfying. I wonder though, amidst this COVID situation, how public swimming is banned yet falls are treated like swimming pools by the visitors.

Lal Tibba: The place where you can get a preview of the Mighty Himalayan Snowclads, even with naked eyes. FYI, you can use a public telescope too for better magnification.

Landour: If Mussoorie is the queen of hills, this place surely is the crown on her top. This place boasts of super-scenic hilltops, awesome food, say: Omelette, Caramel Coffee & Sandwiches at Char Dukan, and emperial establishments to flutter.

Ruskin Bond's Gate: Yes, we went down to meet the legend in his humble abode, but due to the ongoing pandemic, he wasn't available. We only blamed our luck, took a picture to capture the moment and climbed back.
