Landour is a quaint town located next to Mussorie in uttrakhand . This place is famous for British era architecture, cafes , char dukaan, church and Lal tibba to catch the sunrise .
We stayed in Mussorie and walked till landour . We reached within 1.5 hours . On the way , we crossed the mall road , old buildings , churches , local shops and cafes . This place is serene and the peak visible from there is Lil Tibba . Famous cafes are Cafe Ivy , landour bakehouse , Emily and char dukan . While coming back we stopped at Dolma’s Inn ( next to Ruskin bond’s house )and Kalsang restaurant.
By 7 in the evening we were back to our guest house and enjoyed the nice dinner in beautiful surroundings.
How to reach : overnight bus from ISBT , New Delhi . Taxis are available at main Dehradun bus stop for Rs 1200 till mussorie .
