Landour has been in my wishlist for a very long time. I had travelled to Mussoorie before, but never got the chance to visit this quite and untouched cantonment area.

We hired a taxi fir 2 days, we left Delhi on Saturday 4 AM in the morning and reached Mussoorie by 10 AM. It was raining the whole journey. We stopped for some tea on the way. Mussoorie as usual very crowded as it was a weekend. We reached Landour by 11:30 AM due to traffic.

We booked our stay in Doma's Inn. It is one of the prettiest place to live in. There are very few options to live in landour. Since this was in our budget and to our taste it was the perfect place.

It was still raining when we checked in. We decided to have some Tibetan cuisine what Doma's had to offer. We ordered a spinach and cottage cheese momos and Spicy veg ramen.

After our lunch rain stopped, so we decided to explore Landour on foot. We visited the very famous Char dukaan, Lal tibba view point, Tibetan Buddhist temple and St. Paul Church.

We spent our evening at Mussoorie mall road to buy some souvenirs for back home.

Next day early morning we had our breakfast and headed to Landour bakehouse

Our next destination was George Everest Point. It was uphill trek for around 2 km but it was worth it.

I will let you know some fun facts about Landour that I got to know when I visited. The famous movie Kashmir files shooting was done in some parts of Mussoorie and Landour . Below you can see some pics which I hope you can relate to after watching the movie.
