This is lammasinghi a valley just 250kms from the city of visakhapatnam where the temperature drops down to zero degrees during winters. And finally we decided to drive up to the location and hopefully find a nice hill to climb.
We started of at 4am so that we could reach the the top before sunrise. Driving on the beautiful NH5 and minimal traffic, it took us no time to the foot of the hill. And as the sun rose up the horizon even we boys started climbing the ghats of lammasinghi. We decided to lower down the window shades of the car after a while I couldn't feel my face as the cold wind was continuously hitting my face. And finally we reached lammasinghi parked the car a little ahead of the village and started hiking don't know where but just kept walking through the farmlands. We didn't expect the temperature to be so low. The smoke coming out of our mouth was as if we were smoking hookah.
Then we decided to go back to the village and have some breakfast. And trust me the taste of the puri and aloo curry was out of this world. After having a kings breakfast we continued driving ahead the densely foggy road.
We reached a place where many timber logs were stacked up, we thought this was a great place to take a few pictures. We even tried to light up a campfire up failed as everything there was very moist.
Driving a little more ahead we found a small waterfall a very tiny one.
Now we started to look for a nice hill to climb and as the time passed it started getting very hot. And we did find one and parked the car walked through the field for about a km and began climbing the hill. And I can't wait at different spots and click pictures like my other friends did and and started running towards the top and just sat and enjoyed the view. But while walking down the hill as it was just a random hill in the village there were no specific paths to walk, must have fallen at least 20 times on my ass and not to mention the thorns all over my body especially the legs as I was wearing shorts. Once I came down the hill the temperature was like it was in visakhapatnam city (hot and humid) washed my bruises with water and drove back to visakhapatnam via the araku road.
I would highly recommend to visit the place just to experience the Natures mystery of such low temperature at such low altitude.
