Kausani-UnPredictable Trip

We started from Delhi isbt to Rishikesh at night around 11:30 pm. After having our dinner  we took uttrakhand roadways bus to Haridwar as direct Rishikesh bus was not there.

We landed to Haridwar at around 4:30am. Had tea from tea stalls outside haridwar bus stand. It was freezing cold at that time so tea was becoming necessary aspect for us . In the meantime we got a bus to Rishikesh, so we stood up into it.
Our plan was to Rent Bikes from Ranjeet motorcycles as we always rent from there only. So it was morning 7am , we decided to take rest in some hotel till the time shop will also get open. So we took hotel next to that shop and took rest for around 2.5hours.

After freshening ourselves we rented 2 bikes.
One was royal Enfield Himalayan and 2nd one was royal Enfield classic 350, both were super in there performance.
It took us around 1pm to settle all our luggage in bike and refueling as well.
As per plan we have to start our Road trip from rishikesh to kausani which is somewhere around 280km. As we were already running late we planned to eat lunch in somewhere between the way.
We had our lunch and we haulted for 10min at DevPrayag to enjoy River Sangam.
Roads were under construction so we were getting 10min wait time in every 5km .Due to this we were getting late and late.
We covered Srinagar and at 9:15 we reached to Rudraprayag.
As it was Already 9:15pm and we drove continuously for 8 hours we thought of taking rest and will again start our journey at morning 5am. We took hotel and had dinner there.
We were still in Delima whether we should change our plan of Kausani to some other nearby place, because it was still 5hours journey and the experience which we got till now about roads were not good. It took us 8hr to cover just 4hr journey.
At last we decided to head towards Kausani only.

Now it was morning 5am ,we put all our necessary gears to protect us from freezing cold and started again our dream and adventurous journey to Kausani.There was muddy road for approx 50km continuously which was getting very hard to ride .But we conquered this task and at 8am we reached some village, there we had our breakfast. In breakfast we had aloo paratha and tea. It was 12:15pm and we were still some where in the Midway. Only the thing in our mind was can we reach or not. After so many hustle and adventure we reach Baijnath at around 2pm. From there to Kausauni which was 20min away.
We were so happy to conquer our mission to reach at destination which was impossible for us yesterday.
We took the hotel from where we can get the best view of Himalayas.After riding again 9 hours we took rest for 1hour because it was already 3pm and we were only having some hours to roam kausani. We got ready and visited most famous Anashakti Gandhi ashram. The place where Gandhi ji started his journey. View from there was amazing. There was a viewpoint from where we can see 8-9 peaks and it was marked on that tower the name of those peaks.
We were supposed to got to waterfall also but time didn't permit us to go. We came to hotel ,had our dinners and took rest .
We have to leave next day again back to Rishikesh but after seeing those roads we were fearing to go back ,so we decided to take another route. It was from almora than nanital and then rishikesh.

Today we have to cover distance of 320km in one day that too before 9:30pm. We again started our journey from Kausani at 5:30am. We were running out of fuel as it was early morning and Petrol pumps aren't easily available at hilly areas. After witnessing fogg and everything we thought of having tea in some village. Our gloves jacket everything was covered with snow. We had tea break and again we started because we were in edge to edge situation to reach our destination. Anyhow we reached Almora. Roads were so nice which helped us to cover it on time as per plan. We had our breakfast at Almora. Had a view over the flower valley on our way,which was amazing. After that we moved towards Nanital. We visited Nanital lake and Mall road. After spending 1hour there we left from there and continuously drove till rishikesh with only 20-20min lunch and dinner break. We reached Rishikesh at 9:15pm. Gave back bikes and again headed towards Delhi.
It was my first life time experience to witness such unpredictable trip and this much continuous ride.
