Failed In Interview: Dehradun To Mussoorie Road Trip Healed The Wound #unforgettablesolo

It felt like heavens are falling down. I was feeling like hit by a train and my heart was like shattered glass pieces of a windshield of a car. When they didn’t called out my name, it all was dark for me. Though it wasn’t first failure but this time I was fully prepared and was quite confident of selection, but no success. I sat down for some time, then decided not to give a f*** and decided to explore Dehradun. I rented a bike in the evening and for next day just in ₹1000. Started roaming in the city and visited the Buddha Monastery and Temple in clement town. A beautiful tibeten style temple with tall statue of Buddha and it is among one of biggest Buddha temple in world. I sat there, rolled a huge prayer wheel and found some peace. Roamed in Tibet colony. After this hectic day I was hungry and decided to go the famous Kalsang AMA cafe and restaurant, which was on other side of city at Rajpur Road and it was worth crossing the city traffic in evening. I had very delicious donuts ???? and some shakes. Then I had some Tibetan food and that delicious ‘Tom Yum soup’. I still remember that taste. It is a must visit place in Dehradun. Till now pain of failure subsided and I was excited to visit the Queen of Hills. Ya it’s Mussoorie.

Early morning I headed to Mussoorie, but halted to see ‘ Robber’s Cave’ in between. It is a cave with knee height flowing water and beautiful creation of nature. And was a place of hiding for an infamous Robber. Find out his interesting story from locals. Secondly I visited ‘Shastradhara’ and took a dip. My next halt was impromptu one. It was Bhatta waterfall. It is 2 km from main road and by bike I was able to reach right up to the falls. And it was worth crossing that arduous 2 kms when I saw that place. It was mesmerising and untouched nature as many people skip this beautiful destination. The experience of having tea and spicy Maggi while sitting on chairs in running chilled water of Bhatta falls was an exhilarating and unforgettable experience. I then reached the Mussoorie city and again bumped into an unplanned place. That was ‘Soham Museum’. It is run by a couple and based on Himalayan culture and had very beautiful paintings and arts and Himalayan traditions preserved. It turned out a knowledgeable trip to me. Next I reached Lal Tibba where I witnessed the great Himalayan ranges with a huge binoculars. One should visit this at time of sunrise or sunset. I started for Kempty Fall, but halted at sight of beautiful ‘Company Garden’. It is a vey beautiful garden with several type of plants and flowers and worth taking a walk. At last I reached the popular ‘ Kempty Falls’. I was able to visit so many places because of bike, otherwise it’s not possible. I started my return journey with those beautiful views and interview failure didn’t bother me. Instead I thought that maybe this trip was pre planned for me. At last I visited ‘The Jail Cafe’ in Pacific on Mussoorie road, Dehradun and enjoyed some shake. It was a unique styled cafe with prison cells and I loved it’s uniqueness. So here this quick two day trip ended with everything fine in the end.
