Chopta - Tungnath - Chandrashila Trek

Delhi To Chopta | Overnight Journey

We(Me and my 4 Friends) all assembled at Akshardham Metro Station and meet our Trip Captain. We started an overnight journey to Chopta and socialized with our co-travelers (12 other people).

Devprayag Sangam | Reached Chopta

En route to Chopta, we took a pit stop at Devprayag in the early morning to witness the beautiful confluence of the Bhagirathi & Alaknanda rivers ultimately becoming the Ganga rivers. Further, we took a halt around Rudraprayag to grab a satisfying breakfast and continued our journey towards Chopta.

After reaching Chopta Valley, we checked in to our scenic property, freshened up, and had some leisure. We went for a forest walk and absorbed the charming Himalayan beauty. In the evening, enjoyed a warm bonfire and mouth-watering snacks under a million stars. Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stayed in camp.

Trek to Chandrashila via Tungnath Mahadev Temple

Woke up early to witness the beautiful sunrise and post breakfast, and drove to the starting point of our trek. Began our trek to Tungnath - one of the Panch Kedar and the World’s highest temples dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Trekked further to magnificent Chandrashila Peak situated at 13,000 ft and gathered for an #InstaPerfect group picture.

Trekked back to Chopta village and drove back to our property and had some leisure. Savour home-style cooked dinners and overnight stayed in camps.

Drove To Sari Village | Trekked To Deoriatal | Departed For Delhi

Woke up to a peaceful mountain morning and post breakfast, drove to Sari Village. Began our trek to mesmerizing Deoriatal Lake.

Trekked back to Sari village and post lunch started our return journey to Delhi. Took a halt at Rishikesh in the night to explore the local market, went to Little Buddha cafe for delicious dinner, and visited the serene Ganga ghats.
