Majestic backdrop of the snow clad twin peaks of Nar and Narayan, Badrikashram or the holy city of Badrinath at an elevation of 3,133 metres above sea level . The barinath is one of the 4 dhams of hindu tradition (which includes Jagannath temple of Puri, Dwarkadheesh temple of Gujarat and Ramanathaswamy Temple of Rameshwaram). The badrinath temple is one of the part of chota char dham yatra in uttarkhand.
About the temple -
Standing on riverside of holy Alaknanda river , dedicated to lord vishnu. The temple is constructed with very beautiful and eye attaracted colours. There is also Tapt kund , there hot water is rinning.
Best way to reach at Badrinath-
The road distance between Haridwar to Badrinath is 323 km and the aerial distance is 157 km which can be done by availing Badrinath travel tour packages. However although a helicopter ride to Badrinath Dham is extremely comfortable it can get a bit over budget. There is almost at least 1 state bus running between Haridwar to Badrinath. The time taken bus to over the journey will be of 7 hours and 30 mins almost.
Another way by Bike riding which is prefered. there is way -
Haridwar- Rishikesh- Devprayag - Shrinagar city - Rudraprayag - karnaprayag - Nandprayag - Joshimath - Vishnuprayag - Badrinath.
The stunning road with nature oriented way loved that road journey.

About food there is lot's of restaurent there - you get multicuisine food there.
i prefer one best restaurent for food there - "Sardeshwari Restaurant ".
Time to visit -
The Kapat of Temple open only for 6 month ( approx mid May to mid November) . For travel need to E-Pass , so before going make a E-Pass on online at website of -''Uttarakhand Char Dham Devasthanam Management Board''.
