Pull apart raspberry bread which is baked to a golden glaze, the nibbles platter in which each sauce plays with your taste buds and the caramelized pineapple desert; this is just the tip of the iceberg. 3. Splash splash, baby! - not one but two pools
What's better than one pool? Two pools! Surrounded by trees and sunbeds, each of the pools takes your visit into a full blown vacay mood. My friend and I spent hours just floating, humming to music and swimming away all our worries. The villa rooms even come with bathtubs for you to sink into an absolute state of rejuvenation. Go, indulge yourself, you've earned that much needed break.
4. Activities in every corner
During my interaction with the team, I learnt that they've given a lot of thought to making a stay at the Golden Tusk experiential. So, the idea isn't to only provide a comfortable accommodation while you explore the national park, rather it is to provide you an array of things to do beyond the jungle safari. You can try out rappelling and rock climbing (the writer did not happen to slip while attempting the latter, of course not, hehe). If you make it to the top, you can attempt the Flying Fox! You can cycle about the 9-10 acres of land. There's even pebble painting and a luxurious spa for a mindful breather.
5. Hosts that win your heart
I could go on and on about the wonderful facilities of the property but the truth is that what won my heart was the staff. Right from the concierge who welcomes you at the reception to the waiter who brings your much awaited chai, the chef who takes a personal interest in your meal being relished to the lady from the accounts team; the entire staff is exceedingly warm. Whether we asked someone for directions or to even take our picture, we found each individual very open and willing to help out. The CEO takes a keen interest in hiring locally. Plus the family traces its association with hospitality to back in the 1970s. And, with the Golden Tusk touching its 10 year milestone, they've ensured that the service stays impeccable as ever.
So, if you're looking to get away from the city and kickback and relax, you can surely visit this hotel. For all you know you may enjoy your stay a tad too much and may not even feel like venturing beyond it!
