Day 1

As you all know how badly, Covid hit all of us in 2020, We were in our homes for around a year and finally when travel restrictions unveiled  almost after one year since Covid hit, we decided to move out from our house and plan something that can cheer us up.

Many thoughts came in and we finally concluded to visit Goa a dream location for every Indian.

Generally people prefer to go goa with friends but we made our plan to go goa with family and trust me I did not regret a bit. We were 10 people including 4 children.

The journey started on March 16, 2021, We took our flight from Delhi and moved towards our destination. So our plan was to first cover South Goa and then North Goa.

We reached our hotel in south Goa at night where we had our dinner and went to sleep to regain the energy for the next day.  Our hotel was near Benaulim Beach and on 17th Morning, we all got up early and started the walk towards beach. the distance was around 20 mins by walk. The roads were empty and morning breeze made our walk even more delightful.

We finally reached our first spot, "Benaulim Beach". This was the first time I was entering into the sea. Though I saw the sea earlier but that time I was alone and could not go inside the sea. The Beach was very quite and neat.  We were the only group in that beach. Since this was my first time of entering into sea, I could feel the butterfly in my stomach when water touched my feet. We had a lovely time there.

After spending 2 hours at beach, we came back to our hotel where we got ready and had our breakfast.
It was a clear Sunny day, we took some rest in our hotel and on the evening, we decided to go to Dauna Paula and Cruise (Panaji) to watch the Sunset.

We took our Cab through "Goa Miles" app and reached the Dauna Paula, some construction was going on there hence we just stayed there for 10 mins, had some chilled "Lemon Soda" and moved to our next destination River Cruise.

The Cruise trip was on Mandori river, we took our seat and enjoyed the sunset over the water. This was the amazing experience. The Cruise also offers DJ, Goa's folk dance, food etc. The DJ was very good, we had the best time there enjoying the dancing on our favourite Beats.  Casinos were also there which run whole night but we decided to come back to our hotel. The day one spent well.

Day 2

After getting ready, we move towards our next destination i.e. Shanta Durga Temple and Mangeshi Temple, the temples were very old and beautiful. If you are a fan of architecture, you must visit these temples and yes dont forget to wear the clothes below your knee length.

After our Darshan in Temple, we visited "Basilica of Bom Jesus" Church which is a World Heritage Site. It was very beautiful. . It also contains the body of St. Francis Xavier.

It was a very hot day and after  visiting these spiritual places, we came back to our hotels and took some rest.

In the evening we started looking for Cabs, but due to the high demand no one showed up and we then decided to take the scooties on rent. It was the best decision 😁. We took 3 scooties on rent and moved for our next destination "Colva Beach". The weather in evening was pleasant and we enjoyed our scooty ride of 30 mins. Finally reached the beach, huge crowd was there, some activities were also going on, we took the motor boat ride. As the sun was setting and Sea waves were getting stronger, it was the last boat ride after which they wrapped up the sea activities. The ride was terrifying, we screamed, laughed, it was a wonderful experience.

After the roller coaster ride on sea, we had our dinner at sea shack..... The place was very happening, Many shacks were there with good music. After having dinner, we took a small walk at beach, the night was getting darker and even in the crowded area....one can listen to the waves and feel the calmness.
