There is never right time to travel with a baby/toddler/teen; your little ones might not remember what they did, what they saw, but as parents you will have lifetime memories and stories to gush about.
So here are 5 Trouvaille’s to-do for a long weekend in Los Angeles with your children
Sun-kissed Venice Beach: Science says beach makes you healthier and happier ! Known for its bohemian spirit, Venice beach stands true to its hype, and is a hit with the kids. Free-spirited Venice Boardwalk is the site of funky shops, street performers and colorful murals. Hit the pause life button and enjoy your kids run behind the waves, soak in the waves, make sand castles… Do it all !!!
Awe Inspiring inside & outside at Getty: LA is museum blessed, but if you only have time for one the Getty center makes a perfect choice; combines an outstanding art collection with stunning architecture and one of the best views in town. My 2-year-old enjoyed the tram ride to the Museum, vast open areas with water fountains and the lavish Italian paneled rooms.
Has it all - Griffith Park: From Zoo – hiking trails – horse riding – miniature rail - observatory; it has it all, for all. Little ones can have a gala time here but the highlight is horse riding as they even allowed one year old !!! Parents can take turns to watch the amazing shows at the observatory or just enjoy the sunset and the night view of downtown LA skyline.
Disney Land Theme Park: Disneyland is an experience and what more than enjoying it with the excitement and ecstatic little ones. Live all your fantasies – Indiana Jones to Star Wars, it doesn’t need any description. Start early, stay late and the Fastpass is a must.
DON’T Hollywood Drive: Every LA itinerary talks about driving around Beverly Hills, celebrity home tours –its overrated and disappointing. Covered by tall palm trees there is no a peek and the drive is not even close to being scenic.
