If you are in the USA you will hear the name “LEEDS” approval, while other countries are calling it Green Tourism. There are some boards that fix the hotels, whether they will be listed as eco-friendly or not. When you are thinking to book for your accomodation then you can check the list. Booking an eco-friendly hotel could be a perfect starting. If there are no hotels with a tag like this you also can check some facilities like their recycling programs, green-laundry system, environment-friendly bulbs, etc.

Choose to Recycle and Re-useable:

Whether you are in your comfort zone or in abroad, recycling should be in your priority list. There are many cities and hotels with recycling. If there are no places to recycle then you can carry your wastage with a bag and bring it to a place when you can recycle the wastage.

If you want to reduce plastic waste, then you must have to bring re-usable products with you. You can get a bamboo travel set or silver travel set to travel, including a water bottle, coffee mug, bags, etc. This will help the environment from scratching and help you with cheap marketing.

Local Conservation and Food:

If you are going to a place where you need to stay for a while then you can use local conservations. Like you could hire a guide, who will lead you to the places you want to visit. You can buy native goods. This is the way how you are helping them to survive. You should donate to the local efforts because they are helping you with their efforts.

When you are on a vacation try to have local foods, which will give you a completely new taste and avoiding your shipped-in food to your carbon footprint. It could be healthier for you and also for the local farmers and suppliers.
