@Maldives --------- An ode to 3 years of our togetherness!!
2020, a year to be forgotten has been a tough one on all of us in this planet Earth.
Hence, we were excited to make our 1st trip of 2021 on the occasion of our 3rd Anniversary.
Male, the capital of Maldives is well-connected by Air and Sea to most of the countries.
We took the flight from Bangalore to Male, a non-stop one being run by GoAir.
As this was our anniversary trip, we opted for the splendid luxurious stay amidst the sea away from all hussles and hence chose a private island resort far away from the mainland of Male.
From Male, there are only 2 ways of reaching to the island resorts. One is the sea transfer done by cruise, small yacht and jetty.
The other one is the air transfer and it is being run by the Trans Maldivian Airways(TMA) which is a congregation of sea-planes. This is run by the Maldives Government.
We left no stone unturned to make Maldivies a memorable one. We opted for a sea plane transfer and the experience was so over whelming. Flying above the clear blue skies and seeing those beautifully constructed resorts on multiple islands were something worth witnessing.
We stayed in a beautiful property in Maafushi island named Centara Grand Island resort and spa, operated by Centara group.
This beautiful resort is located around 97Kms from Male at the South Ari Atoll. (An atoll is a ring-shaped coral reef, island, or series of islets. An atoll surrounds a body of water called a lagoon. You can google for more information).
It is a 5-star property with all super luxury amenities, with extremely hospitable and helpful stuffs and great food options. I would be sharing some of the pictures here.
Starting from witnessing breath taking sunsets each evening, to the clean blue and green ocean water all around, under ocean beauty, cozy comfortable rooms and the wide balconies connecting the ocean any time you want, Maldives just added a beautiful memory to our lives.

Given the restrictions all around the world, the only plausible place to visit out of India was Maldives which has been the top tourist destination post pandemic season.
Maldives, is one of the most beautiful destinations on this planet. A romantic tourism hotspot. Not only its beautiful, it’s expensive place to go for a vacation. Maldives is known for its beautiful islands, exotic resorts and out of the world underwater life.
