This temple is a masterpiece and one if the best which I visited out there in UK.
It contains main temple of Balaji along with other gods and goddess. You can spend some healthy time here with your family.
Adding some photographs from the temple.
Started from London early morning via road and reached balaji temple in the outskirts of birmingham at oldbury.
After the temple, had lunch on mid way and headed towards Lake district, one of the most beautiful places on England. It contains beautiful mountains and big lakes. Windermere is the biggest among them and hence quite famous among tourists.
If you are taking road trip from London to Scotland, then you can definitely take a hault here.
I took a 45 cruise ride which which costs something around 9-10 pounds. After the ride, I spend some time roaming on the beautiful streets . If you are shopping freak, head out to the streets, there are plenty of options for you. This place also contains multiple restaurant with cusines from Indian to Chinese ti Italian and so on !!
I spend some time there, soaked myself if the beautiful valley and started towards Glasgow, the final destination of the day.
Rather than taking the usual highway, we took Kirkstone pass. This is the most scenic passes in UK.
It have narrow passages , beautiful valley and view of the majestic lake. I will recommend you to to take this pass which later submurges with the highway 'M74' that connects to Scotland.
We finally headed towards Glasgow as that was the final destination for day one.
But wait, the dinner is not over and being Indian , we headed towards indian restaurant for our dinner.
Indiana Dome !!
WoW !
It contains such authentic Indian food with multiple options and beautiful architecture and collection if indian photographs.
Well, I was totally satisfied with the taste, quality and the hospitality. I could not recall, but buffet of indian food costs something around 13 pounds here.
Day 2 was all about visiting the Scottish Highlands and Ben newis (the highest peak of the UK).
For that we travelled via Loch Lomond national park. It was the first almong two of the national parks set up by Scottish parliament in early 2002.
It contains big lake 'Loch Momond' and this may be the reason of keeping name of the national padi as such 😝. (Just a guess).
It contains beautiful scenic views .
Well, here comes the saddest part of trip.
The ropeway, which takes you to top of ben News was closed due to excess wind ☹️
Hence we further decided to go back and headed towards Glasgow using the same route and stopped in between for photographs and lunch.
In the evening header for sight seeing before dinner.
As this was sunday, there was hardly any traffic.
This place contains serious beautiful graffiti paintings and they are hugs. I had never seen something like that before.
Glasgow and Edinburgh; the capital city of Scotland are 50 miles apart and it takes around one-time and and half hour by car. We headed towards Glasgow for a city tour where we visited streets, Queen's palace, The castle, the national library and many more
This place gives you beautiful view of whole old Edinburgh city. This is must visit place when you travelling here . On one side of the hill, you will find the Scottish parliament, Queen's place and on the other side the beautiful old city and the sea.
This architecture lies on the calon hill and it is a monument to commemorate Nelson's victory at Trafalgar.
There is tower nearby to it, around 150 feet in height and if you go on that, you will get the best view of the city. It costs 6 pounds to go on the top of tower.
While returning bank to London, we stopped at this place and it have a epic history.
In 1754, there came a marriage law in England which which prevented couples the age of 21 marrying in England or Wales without their parent's consent.
However, it was still legal in Scotland to marry boys above 14 and girls above 12 without parent's consent. So such couples began crossing the border in Scotland and their first stop was the famous blacksmith shop 'Grenta Green's 😉
