1. LEMPUYANG TEMPLE
The iconic gates of heaven at Lempuyang is every traveller's dream. Nothing beats Lempuyang's architecture in reflecting Bali's Hindu ethnicity. Your Bali trip is incomplete, if you haven't been to Lempuyang.
You are not allowed inside the temple. It's reserved only for locals.
TIPS:
- There is a huge queue for getting pictures clicked at the gates. One may have to stand in queue for 2-3 hours. Hence try to reach there 4am to beat the crowd.
-Sarong is mandatory for entering the temple premise and can be rented there.
-Washroom is available outside the temple.
2. TIRTHA GANGAA
The water palace of bali adorned with beautiful sculptures and shimmering lakes filled with colourful fishes. It has beautiful gardens with aesthetic bridges and fountains.
You can feed the fish, walk through the lakes, get swoonworthy pictures clicked or can simply soak into peacefulness.
One can spend hours here.
TIPS:
-Fish food is available outside the palace
-It's one the most instagrammable places, hence you might have to work with the crowd to get the perfect shot
-Washrooms and cafes are available
3. CAMPUHAN RIDGE WALK
It is the nature trail in the middle of the city. The entire trail is engulfed by Beautiful forestry mountains, glowing sunrises, lotus ponds, Beautiful cafes.
You will meet several fellow travellers on the way. It's calmness is quite intoxicating and one can easily spend hours walking.
If you are a nature lovers, you won't be disappointed
TIPS:
-Sunrises are really beautiful
-Gets really hot during the afternoon
-Usually one can end the trek at karsa cafe which is 2kms one way but if want, you can continue walking further.
-Washrooms are available only at the cafes 5. One can also cover Ubud royal palace and Saraswati temple as they are all 1-2 kms from Campuhan Ridge walk parking.
4. TUKAD CEPUNG
Beautiful waterfall hidden with a cave with sun rays peeking through the trees.
8One can also explore the small waterfalls around the area.
TIPS:
-One have to climb a lot of stairs but once you reach the Waterfall, you will feel it's worth it.
-Like all famous waterfalls of Bali, gets crowded during the afternoon
-Changing rooms are available. Hence you can take your swim wear
-There are 2-3 cafe located with beautiful views
5. TELLALANG RICE TERRACE & BALI SWING
You can enjoy the beauty of Lush green rice terraces at Tellalang. You can either walk around or simply relax at their cafe while admiring it's beauty.
One of the most thrilling activities at Tellalang rice terrace is the famous Bali swing that flies over the rice terraces.
It also has cute photogenic setups that gives you insta worthy shots.

-Dresses are available for rent.
-Waiting time is mot too long
-Washrooms and cafes are available.
