Ever thought of a private pool in your villa, all for you?
What if you can jump into the pool from your room?
How about your breakfast floating around the pool?
And what if we say, it was all in budget?
Yes, that's true. We stayed in Bije Suite Villa in Ubud for 2 days and it was one of the best parts of our trip to Bali.
About the property
Around 2 kilometres from Ubud Market, the Bije Suite Villa offers two types of accommodation harmonizing traditional Balinese and modern styles. It has got an authentic Balinese touch, basically. They have a couple of villas with a private pool and another series of suites with a communal pool.
They have a great team of well-trained staff and will try their best to make you feel at home. The villas are very cozy surrounded by the lush tropical garden and a perfect bedroom area that is spacious and comfortable.
Cost
It cost us INR 13,500 for a 2-day stay in the month of March. We had booked it on Booking.com.
The price of the food from their restaurant is reasonable and would cost anywhere around INR 1,000 - 1,500 per couple for lunch or dinner (excluding drinks). They have a complimentary breakfast which is very good, even for a vegetarian.
We opted for a floating breakfast on one of the days and it cost us an additional INR 500 per person. They had also arranged for an anniversary cake and flower decoration in the room for INR 1,000. Let me let you the arrangement was really amazing. We had asked for an eggless cake as Ruchi is vegetarian and they made all the efforts to find a Vegan cake for us, we were really delighted.
They also arrange bike tours, walking trips, and cooking classes for an extra fee.
Food
They have their own restaurant cum cafe - Al Fresco cafe which provides a mouth-watering dining experience. The hotel has its own restaurant with a range of Indonesian and Asian cuisine. They also served food at our room and don't miss the Floating breakfast on the pool.
Best time to visit
Bali generally is warm throughout the year and hence, can be visited any time of the year. Though tourists generally visit between March to October.
How to get here?
One can take a book a cab from the airport to the hotel or board a bus till Ubud. It's around 3 Kms from Ubud Market. The hotel has its own shuttle to the Ubub market for their customers free of cost, one can check the timing on the shuttle by reaching out to the hotel.
The hotel also offers Airport shuttle at a nominal cost.
What to do here in Bali?
Bali is one of the top destinations for people across the world these days as it has got some of the best beaches, beautiful Sunsets, Sunrises, Rice terraces, Temples and most importantly the private pool resorts at affordable prices.
Then there's Bali swing, one of the hottest Instagram spots in the world. Uluwatu is called the surfer's paradise as well, and don't miss the waterfalls in and around Ubud.
