A pocket friendly 2 days trip in chopta for camping and trekking...
So our trip started from srinagar garhwal in the morning around 8am. It took us 3 to 4 hrs to reach our camp named magpie.
Our camp location was great, it was nearly 300 m to 400 m away from the main road. The long trees of forest covered with snow were adding beauty to the mountain view from the camp.
The place was best for relaxing and refreshing your brain, plus the camp was in no network zone so you can spend some time with your closed ones without worrying about the rest of the world...
If you are really looking for a peaceful location then just try this place. I tried this place in the month of feb which is not a tourist season for the place so i really enjoyed the peaceful time here with my college friends..
In chopta, apart from camping you also have the option of treking.
In chopta there is a trek for tungnath and chandrashila which is 3 to 4 km trek. I know many of you will think that 3 or 4 km is not much but believe me 3 to 4 km trek in snow was really difficult for us.
So finally we visited tungnath which is the highest temple of shiva of Asia... Tungnath if one of the panch kedar temple...
