At Kuno-Palpur national park, you will be greeted by the Asiatic lions, the dense forests and its innumerable species of animals and birds. Rich in biodiversity, Madhav National Park is a residence for rare and migratory birds; a perfect spot to visit for birdwatchers. Like Ranthambore, Panna tiger reserve is another popular place for spotting tigers.

All of the above destinations are unique in their ecological balance. The corridor will pave an opportunity to visit each one of the national parks in a single itinerary, without hassles of transportation. Truly a thrilling experience for wildlife photographers and adventure lovers.

What is the purpose behind the planned corridor?

As per Mr Scindia, the corridor will boost tourism and economic development of both Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

The national parks, planned to be covered within the corridor, will receive good footfall. The reason being, the tourists will be able to commute and connect easily with all the parks. So not only will it bring in more and more tourists into the region, but enhance the revenue earnings too. Economic enhancement and advancement of the two states is anticipated.

What is the latest plan of action?

Though the plan is to start the work as early as possible but there has been certain delays due to the pandemic situation in the world. Cheetahs from South Africa were supposed to reach the Kuno-Palpur Sanctuary in March. But now there will be a tentative delay of four weeks.

But the wait is worth, since the experience one is going to witness is mind-blowing as well as astonishing.
