One of the best weekend i had with my friends was gokak. I feel lucky that this wonderful place is near from my city i.e Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Gokak is fully filled with positivity and tranquility all over it. If you are a monsoon lover then gokak is just perfect place for you to rejuvenate your soul.
So what can you do in gokak ?
I visited the gokak fall during the off season but i will recommend people that gokak is likely to be visited during the monsoon season. Apart from waterfall there is one renowned temple called as ' Mahalingeshwar temple' you can visit there too. Even one can experience the southern culture. There is also one large bridge present near the fall. I just visited this two places but there are many other places in gokak which are worth visiting. I have few glimpses from my trip.
